Job Description:
The Director of Consulting will play an integral part in helping the Commercial consulting team work through the entire Lifecycle of a MarkLogic-based delivery.
Specific Responsibilities:
.Hiring and developing a staff of the best qualified Consultants
.Providing project and team oversight to ensure successful implementations
.Scoping projects and pricing accordingly
.Working with the entire Western Commercial Team to drive Company revenue
.Solution-selling with Sales team to generate the best possible value to Customers
.Managing P/L & utilization to company expectations
Must Have:
.Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
.10+ years of experience in a technical consulting capacity or similar technical field
.8+ years project management experience, 5+ years managing multiple (3+) concurrent projects
.5+ years in Management of Consultants (10+), preferably for a Software Vendor
.Experience working at a database, search engine, or other enterprise software company
.Excellent leadership skills with attention to detail and positive attitude
.Strong oral and written communication skills
.Strong client relationship management skills
.Experience with dynamically changing/growing organizations
.Experience working with fast-paced software sales and services
.Experience with managing C-Level interactions and relationships
.Excellent project management skills with experience in the Agile development methodology
.Background in Healthcare, Media, Publishing, Financial Services and/or Fortune 1000 Accounts
Nice to Have:
.Experience with enterprise knowledge management or content management products
.Experience with MarkLogic
.Direct experience with commonly accepted industry architectures/technologies including J2EE, .NET, XML, XSLT, SOA/Web Services, SQL, HTML, HTTP
